In addition to the REST API, Sotto supports high-volume data movement through flat files. These are the right choice for batch syncs, historical backfills, and recurring exports to your data warehouse.

Imports

You deliver a CSV file to the SFTP inbound directory provisioned for your account, and Sotto ingests it automatically. New files are picked up as soon as they land, classified by a filename prefix, and processed — there’s nothing to poll or trigger.

User import

Create and update users in bulk. Filename prefix user_.

Purchase import

Import order and line-item data. Filename prefix purchase_.

Sotto generates the file and delivers it to your SFTP server on a recurring schedule.

User export

User profiles, custom data, and segment membership.

Click data export

Link-click events with message and user context.
Exports are configured by Sotto on your behalf. To set up or change an export, contact support@withsotto.com with your destination SFTP details and desired schedule and format (CSV or JSON).
